Last nights crafting

Had a nice evening crafting last night :-) I decided to make up the left over card kits from my last class. Slowly but surely building up my stock of Christmas cards for this year!

The top 2 were CASED from pininterest (sorry I can't remember who!) and I got the inspiration for the 3rd one from pininterest but put my own twist on it.

I love the word thinlits dies, they can be fiddely but so worth it! Also loving the new snowflake stamps and matching framelits dies. I had a friend who recently was discussing with me the need for a big shot. She's recently started her stamping adventure and is loving it! She thought at first she could get away without having a big shot but admitted the other night she keeps seeing so much inspiration with them that now she needs one! I love my big shot!

My top 3 can't do without tools are probably the big shot, punches and now the new envelope punch board. If you haven't got one yet check it out in my online shop! Just click the little shopping trolley and get started :-) what are your "can't do without" crafting tools?

It's finally here!

For those demonstrators lucky enough to be silver 2 the fun really started tonight with the stampin' up! Convention. I could have gone along to check in early and pick up my bag and goodies but chose to do a little wandering and small amount of spending money (large amount of spending time with family which is the main thing) we had fun looking round the Christmas markets here in Manchester :-) well worth it if your in the area.

Anyway, tomorrow will be the great unveiling of my fabulous swaps I can now tell you I made a corner bookmark (slots onto the top corner of the page) however tonight I will share with you a card I made earlier this year using the gorgeous stamp set "lovely as a tree" this is now stampin' up!s longest running stamp set but don't count on it being around forever. You can order yours online using my name as your demonstrator ;-) I also used some fantastic stampin' up! Ribbon it's so versatile! I sponged the background to get the sky effect and used my blender pens on the trees themselves. I'm really happy with the results, I've seen this done many times and really happy to have done it myself at last.

Watch this space for tomorrow's grand reveal!! X

My baby bear

Only one more sleep till convention kicks off and I'm really excited! Anyway here's another catch up of my busy mummy year.

This was an 8x8 scrapbook page I made when Hyrum was just 3 months old! Using circle punches and gold card stock. I love the 8x8 albums and there's some really nice divided page protectors and album in the new Christmas catalogue. If you want to have a go at scrap booking yourself then shop online with stampin up and enter my name at the checkout as your demonstrator: Lorraine Ferguson

Hope you like my baby bear :-)

Swaps and apologies!!

I'm sorry for the delay in posting my swaps as promised. As many of you know I was taken very ill 3am Friday morning, I dragged myself to part o convention but ultimately ended up in hospital! I am so gutted I missed most of convention but feeling much better now.

These are the swaps I made using the flower shop stamp set and matching punch. I also used washi tape from all 3 of the washi tape lines that stampin' up! have. The Designer series paper used was from the gingham gardens collection . I put a big Stampin' Up! Rhinestone in the middle of each flower. The base of the corner bookmark is made from whisper white card stock. I punched the bottom using the scallop trim punch.

I hope those who got my swaps enjoy using them for personal uses and as a business tool (what a great way to promote new products and give to customers with their new catalogues)

If you want to order any of the products used in this swap (or any other products from the amazing stampin' up! Range) just head over to the Stanpin' Up! Website, click shop, do your shopping and at the end it will ask you who your demonstrator is and just type in Lorraine Ferguson from the Isle of Wight :-)

Ill add the measurements and how this is made soon ;-)

Time for sharing

It's been so long I know but I though I would share with you a card I made earlier this year (before the retirement of one of my favourite stamp sets came)

I made this card for my nephew who turned eight (obvious by the picture really) I was inspired by a similar card I saw on pininterest and have to apologise I don't remember who I got the idea from :-(

It uses the dinoroar stamp set and the big shot alphabet bigz die.

I hope you like it, watch this space for more convention lead up, year catch up and the unveiling of my swaps :-)
